2D Animation

Is one of the main types of animation. It is used to create animated movies, cartoons, marketing videos, advertisements, educational materials, video games, and much more. An animation software allows you to make the most unusual and crazy ideas come true.

3D Animation
noun
3D animation uses computer graphics to make objects appear to be moving in three-dimensional space. The artists use 3D modeling software to create the objects. Then comes the manipulation, a virtual representation of an object or the skeleton of a character.

3D Modeling

The process of developing a mathematical representation of any three-dimensional object through specialized software. The product is called a 3D model.
Example: 3D modeling is the part I like the most about creating a video game.

Advanced mechanic

Discipline that combines theoretical and applied mechanics with numerical methods and computer science
Example: The Rocket League video game has many advanced mechanics, that if you manage to practice you can more easily beat your opponents

Activity in which man recreates, with an aesthetic purpose, an aspect of reality or a feeling in beautiful forms using matter, image or sound.

Artist Portfolio
noun
Is an edited collection of an artist's best artwork intended to showcase their style or method of work. A portfolio is used by artists to show employers their versatility by showing different samples of current work.

Artistic direction

Art direction is about presenting content to a group of people creating a communication experience.
Example: The art direction of The Last of Us is a masterpiece.

Character design

Different concepts are included in character design, such as poses and movements, body and head design, gestures and faces.
Example: The inside out character design is very well thought out, each character demonstrates its meaning just by looking at it

Composition
noun
Composition is the planning of art, the placement or arrangement of elements or ingredients in an artwork, or the selection and placement of design elements according to design principles within the work.
Example: Your illustration has an excellent composition. All its elements are very well placed.

Conceptual Art
noun
Is art for which the idea (or concept) behind the work is more important than the finished art object. When an artist uses a conceptual form of art, it means that all of the planning and decisions are made beforehand and the execution is a perfunctory affair.
Example: concept art always makes me think.

Graphic design

It is the art or discipline whose purpose is to devise and project messages with their own character and identity through the image.

Software used by applications and programs to draw graphics on the screen of your computer, smartphone or tablet.

Is a communication process between humans and computers. It is a concept widely used in communication sciences, computer science, multimedia design, and industrial design.

It is used in computing to name the functional connection between two systems, programs, devices or components of any kind, which provides communication at different levels, allowing the exchange of information.
Example: The Fortnite interface is very intuitive

Lighting
noun
Lighting or illumination is the deliberate use of light to achieve practical or aesthetic effects. Lighting includes the use of both artificial light sources like lamps and light fixtures, as well as natural illumination by capturing daylight.

An arrangement of images, materials, pieces of text, etc. intended to evoke or project a particular style or concept.

Way of representing one or more objects on a flat surface, which gives an idea of the position, volume and situation they occupy in space with respect to the observer's eye.

Is a technique where artists merge & blend photographs or 3D assets together while painting and compositing them into one finished piece.

Special Effects

A sequence of drawings, typically with some directions and dialogue, representing the shots planned for a movie or video game.

User Experience

The user experience (UX or UE) is how a user interacts with and experiences a product, system or service. It includes a person's perceptions of utility, ease of use, and efficiency.
Example: If you want your video game to be loved by the public, you have to achieve a good user experience

Vanishing point
noun
A vanishing point, in a conical projection system, is the geometric place in which the projections of the lines parallel to a given direction in space, not parallel to the projection plane, converge. It is an improper point, located at infinity. There are as many vanishing points as there are directions in space.
